The Palo Alto Palominos Men’s Basketball team continued their strong start to the season with an impressive 83-54 win over the Austin Community College Riverbats in Austin, Texas.
The Palominos came out firing on all cylinders, quickly erasing an early 8-4 deficit to take control of the game. It was a true team effort, with key contributions from several players off the bench.
Roger Dominguez and Marco Camacho both provided a much-needed spark, scoring 13 points each to help the Palominos pull away. Their energy and scoring punch were pivotal in lifting the team to the victory.
Meanwhile, Manuel Renato-Castro set the tone with his play in the paint. The big man scored 11 points and was a force on the boards, helping the Palominos establish an early lead that they would not relinquish.
With the win, the Palominos improve to 4-0 on the season. They will look to continue their hot start when they face the UIW Cardinals next.
If the Palominos can continue to get contributions from their entire roster and play with the same intensity and focus, they will be a tough out for any opponent. Fans are certainly excited to see what this team can accomplish as the season progresses.
