Reagan High School senior and future Holy Cross Crusader, Aidan Richard, put on a show tonight, leading his team to victory with a dominant defensive performance and a game-winning three-pointer!
Starting the game a bit quiet offensively, Aidan made his presence felt on the other end, shutting down Johnson’s top scorer, holding him to a mere 10 points. His hustle and defensive intensity set the tone for the entire team, keeping Reagan in the game throughout the first half.
But in the second half, Aidan came alive offensively. He started finding his rhythm, slashing to the basket and knocking down key shots. As the clock ticked down and the score remained close, Aidan took over. With nerves of steel and ice in his veins, he drained a clutch three-pointer from downtown as the final buzzer sounded, sending the Reagan crowd into a frenzy!
Aidan’s 20 points, including the game-winner, were a testament to his leadership, resilience, and clutch play. He proved that night why he’s headed to Holy Cross next year, and why Reagan is lucky to have him for one more season.
